Because Monday’s are hard and sometimes we need a little motivation…
With the New Year right around the corner, many people are looking to change themselves. And while change is good and necessary, it’s also important to appreciate yourself in every form. Remember that when your making your resolutions.

With the popularity of social media, it is easy to get caught up in how you present yourself on the outside. It’s easy to make life look perfect when you slap a filter on it. I believe a lot of the time we think taking action and making a difference comes from some grand gesture. I don’t think that should be the case. Make it your goal to make a difference today. No matter how small. Smile at a stranger. Pick up a piece of litter. Donate a few dollars. Discuss ideas and current events. Reflect on your place in the world. If everyone did one small thing each day, it would be like a room full of mosquitoes! This post is starting to making me itchy… Happy Monday!

It’s easy to think that if you aren’t constantly working towards a goal, you’re wasting your time. Remember this isn’t true. Remember that every experience, good or bad, is shaping you into who you are. And even if things don’t go exactly how you planned, you learned something new and are a different person because of it. Keep trying. Keep learning.
